Girl is not ready.
Hopefully we get a scan group that picks this series up, cuz this isn't the first time that the "official" translations has said something different than what was said in the rawsIn the JP raws, Ichi corrects the little girl when she calls him a witch (Majo), and he says "I'm Ichi the Warlock" (Madan. Madan no Ichi.) All that awkward "lady witch" dialogue towards the end is stuff the localizer made up. Because calling him a witch is a translation error, the translator has had to make more translations errors (read: made shit up) to try and get a similar meaning.
I'm going to be upset about this deliberate mistranslation until it gets fixed.

just came back from reading the JapaneseI'm going to be upset about this deliberate mistranslation until it gets fixed.
Are… are you me? Glad to see I'm not the only one who cares. I'd go with “Wizard” over “Warlock” now because it doesn't seem like a hypernym is needed and because the “Wi” overlap is more than just the “W” overlap, but yeah I fundamentally agree. In the JP raws, Ichi corrects the little girl when she calls him a witch (Majo), and he says "I'm Ichi the Warlock" (Madan.
