Haven't started reading this absolute unit of an upload yet, but thanks for translating and uploading, been enjoying this one a lot.
Edit: Have now finished it, I think going through the middle part while waiting for updates would have driven me insane, so I'm glad this got uploaded in a large chunk lol. It was cute and nice, very frustrating too, wish the two characters had more stuff together with some meat to it. Still fun though.

The ending was so bad it was perfect.

Cliché as fuck but my man the misunderstandings and forced emotional warfare is so immature it's relatable.

This manga got me thinking about some stuff I genuinely did NOT want to remember.

OMG I hate this. OH ITS MY FAULT I DIDNT SEE THE SIGNS bs.

Dude, id hate having to play games like these, I wouldnt want to trust her as a partner with how goddamn bad her communication skills are, she doesnt event have the guts to defend MC or reject a guy.

MC deserved better, why is he the one who has to repair their relationship at the end. Even before the end, it almost feels like everyone keeps telling HIM to do something about it when hes the one who's hurt.

I despise misunderstandings like this, cause of some bs that someones too much of a pussy to say, extra bad when the victim has to mend it. I dont care if shes a highschooler, 45 chapters and she's still a coward. MC developed fine how bout her.

It's very funny that scosho date is more of a date than anything the two main characters actually do. Femc sucks but I wouldn't say I hate her.

Thx for the mass uploads!

The ending is cliche and I hoped that it would've been done better or differently, especially with how much of a dickhead the MC is towards FMC during those 3 months.

But aside from that, 9/10 manga. Loved it.
9/10 for this is crazy but to each their own ig lmao

I honestly don't get why people blame the mc at all , yes he avoided her ,but she was the one who badmouthed him before her friends , learned he knew about it and didn't do anything about , instead all the friends and mc solved her problem for her . From my pov , every decision the mc took seems realistic and sensible for a normal person. Hearing people take about you behind your back is horrible experience for anyone , everyone telling him , it's not her intentions is ridiculous , intentions be damned when you openly put down another person especially someone you say you love. If she can't openly defend atleast his character, then what's the point of her being in love at all , she feels so superficial in her love
Nah fuck off, they BOTH have terrible communication skills. This wasn't a one way ticket. They were both equally responsible for making this manga unnecessarily annoying the last 20 chapters.

Pretty stereotypical, yet good romance manga turned into absolute slop fest in the latter third. I am actually disgusted

Ok I admit MC sucks at communication, but overall FMC didnt change at all till the end and was the worst, MC talked after 10 chapters of other people saying HE has to do shit. FMC realized the problem and what she did wrong and didnt do anything, But to me I wouldnt blame him if he stopped talking too her after that, only reason I find that he shouldve talked earlier was cause he cant move on.

I was only continuing to read it cause I was waiting for FMC to clear it up, and for me 100% of whats caused this misunderstanding is her. Whether or not MC could have talked earlier to get this over, I still think its her mess to clean up not his. Its not about them being bad at talking, its about her being so bad at communicating that it impedes her from taking any responsibility.

Even if it was about earlier for MC learning FMC likes someone and didnt communicate, for me its not something I would pry into and is not even possible to bring up in conversation. And if he should've confessed after the mascot scene, I feel like he has a lot of variables as to why id understand not doing it, introverted, unsure feelings, inexperience (in love), a friend so he should support, FMC literally crying cause she was still thinking of someone else, studies, is a dude, but yea I couldnt blame him for not confessing the real point I was making earlier is FMC did a bitch move -> Doesnt apologize first -> MC has to mend it himself despite being the victim.

Pour one out for everyone who confuses "these characters have poor communication skills" with "this writing is bad." Especially since miscommunication is the number one trope in manga. We should all know how to handle this by now.

This wasn't a bad story, but it was a frustrating one, because it was a plausible depiction of romantic novices. Like a lot of high school romance, with their unripe brains, it's realistic that two kids would be this bad at getting together. These two in particular have a specific set of flaws that made self-sabotage the obvious outcome. Dude is too insecure, too afraid of rumors, too cowardly to take a risk and shoot his shot. Girl is too stubborn, too defensive, and too cowardly to shoot her shot. Even when multiple side characters point out the obvious to them it doesn't get through their thick heads. Frustrating!

So I think this is a decent manga about kids who suck at emotional intelligence. I like how it takes the miscom trope/cliché and digs into the personality/psychology behind it. Realistic miscom. I dislike how they ended it- I'm not sure it feels like a proper ending. What does confessing solve, if they're gonna spend the next four years in long distance? That should be the rest of the story. It would give them time to resolve their communication problems and actually build the ship. That would also meaningfully resolve the frustration and make the ending more cathartic. Instead, I think we'll get a time skip epilogue where somehow everything worked out off-screen.

This ending really is shit, like let's not take in consideration the enormous communication problem they have, the MC deciding their relationship had no future but vowing to love her forever ,LDR exists , you live in fucking japan a trip back home is not a 20 hour road trip or an expensive plane ticket, he seems to give up on the relationship before it even started properly.

And why HE is equally responsible when he did not do something bad to her? Wtf think straight, if you heard your crush talking about like that to friends you'll just be like "nah it's my fault I should patch things up"?

You people live in a dark fantasy

Aside from that, somewhat bad ending. As someone said it's almost more chapters with the two MC not even talking than the number of chapters when the reletationship developed, so it feels kind of left there.

Also I don't know if I'm the only one, but the last part of his internal monologue where he talks about things will differ and he'll grow and whatever felt almost like an ominous future ahead.
Not that we will have more, obv

same, when i reached the middle chapter, i just started skipping ts😭
couldn't read
This was a rough read on the back end, but I still came out more positive than sour at the finish, and I think it's almost entirely due to being able to read it all in one go. If I was forced to wait between uploads during some of the later chapters I would have 100% dropped this manga.

Thanks for the chapters.

You're either dumb or just not reading at all, he literally fully admitted that he knew a while ago that she didn't really mean what she said and that the true reason he didn't confront her was because he was being coward, his own words. Also even when MULTIPLE people around him told him to confront her and communicate properly as may have been a misunderstanding, he still refused to do so.

Yeah ik she's in the wrong but people need to stop acting like it was just her. They were both cowards with terrible communication skills. Additionally the fmc coming to the conclusion that mc might've heard their conversation was pure plot convenience, and to make it worse, like you said, even after being handed said plot convenience she did absolutely nothing with it like wtf

Yeah we know she's a dumb coward with terrible communication skills blah blah as for your question as to why he was told to do something was obviously because he's the only one who knew what she said, she didn't know he heard her therefore from her perspective he just randomly started avoiding her, and then when asked what the problem was he lied to her face saying he was avoiding her because he wanted to focus on exams. She didn't find out he knew until much later but even then that was pure plot convenience that she was able to piece that together her own and then she didn't even do anything with it for frustrating reason
