F, I thought this was satire for comedy's sake, but going through the comments, apparently this is real? Yikes.

... Okay, I read this without knowing about the idol industry. Sounds like a horror film. Think I'm going down the rabbit hole to figure out how this happens. Lack of education? Twisted cultural values?

Every time I learn the backstory about why certain subjects might have appeared in a story, I feel a bit more disillusioned. I might not be able to laugh at this anymore.

@JKLnHYD Honestly yeah, changing her goal from just fucking with his head in some kind of sadistic love to making him not an Otaku so they can really date (i have no idea what's the issue on that, at worst it's awkward to get with a fan but 99% of what she did show clearly she doesn't care about awkward stuff) just turn the story into seeing a girl just shoot herself repeteadly in the foot and wonder why the dude isn't quitting being an otaku to be with her when she gave him every reason to not even think of her as availlable.
