Came back after a bit because this was bothering me, feel like the chairman should be extremely pissed at the president.
"Your job isn't to make the auditions exciting," "Debut in bulk and then milk the ones that get popular,"
Before I reread the chapter I actually thought the dude saying this was IDK, in charge of producing the idol group created at the end of the show. Someone who doesn't care about the tv aspect because he mainly profits if that final group sells.
Instead he's the president of the TV company??? AKA someone who's supposed to make sure the process of creating that group sells???
If I were the chairman and I heard him talking like that I'd tear him a new asshole. Why the heck are you producing a show that starts with 100 contestants if you can't think of ways to make the early auditions profitable.
