Idolatry

[MangaDex]

[tresul]

Quick, stop the presses! A new manga about an obsessive idol fan becoming an idol herself for nefarious purposes just dropped.

Decent first chapter and beautiful art, remind me of Act-Age’s art. Hope some scanlation group pick it up.

[CPhant0m]

honestly really good and i love Junna Harumi as the "yandere" protagonist using whatever she can to get Fuwari Tsukishiro to win

[PokutoHokuto]

Hope this serie will continue way past where Act-Age stopped.

Though as much as Junna being crazy and playing a rigged system is very funny to watch, this serie will need something else to make the story more interesting in the long run. Or Junna alone may not be enough to carry all this for long.
The easier way to that could just be to add more interesting characters, and having them form some groups or relations shaping the story,
but I also wouldn't mind if the story jumped into a different genre all along, not as far as hoshi no ko and similar did by adding supernatural, maybe something more along the lines of a commentary of popularity online.

For now I just hope the story will not stop with the end of the audition going on right now. Would really want to see where this could go after that.

The premise reminds me of AKB49. I wonder how this is going to go.

[nivad]

very interesting

Found this manga while looking for something new and decided to start reading on a whim. Really didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I have been. Looking forward to seeing where this second main story arc goes and hoping its popularity picks up

IMMACULATE
the characters serve the story, not the other way around--so all the chars are really goofy but the plot bangs

[ScreamingOffspring]

This is a certified BANGER. amazing TL team as well

[Fredgreninjao]

Blue Lock vibes par the fact the main characters ego is shaped in her love for her oshi and wanting to make her the best.

I've never caught a series, with 20+ chapters already, continue to have its score rise this much. And it makes me so happy this series is starting to get some recognition. I discovered Idolatry last month when the score was 8.95, in a week it grew to 9.00, and now its 9.05. Like Junna's plans for Fuwari, i hope it continues to rise

[Omtile]

is it actual yuri?

[catoo]

so intense and so much aura 😲😳 i love the competitiveness and the characters! And I just realized the artist for this manga is the one who did Princess of the Princess AAAHHHH

[sirmidor]

Really like the manga, but I don't see why it's tagged as yuri. The main relationship between Junna and Fuwari is that of Junna as hardcore fan/yandere and Fuwari as her oshi, not any real romantic/sexual interest either way. Unless the next volume is massively different, it doesn't seem like a yuri story so far.

I honestly love everything about this manga.

The art which I ABSOLUTELY love.
Great story, I'm quite invested.
Yuri is a bit scarce but nonetheless, any interaction will be yuriful in my eyes🥹
