I think what Mimi got from Aria in this situation is to not let yourself be taken to the pace of an opponent and forget to be true to yourself. I wonder if it also has something to do with the position of vice-captain, in a musical presentation for example, you don't want the accompaniment to overpower the main melody or the current star in that particular part of the song, so Yuuri wanting to overpower the others with sheer volume without adding anything to the song may be out of place.

It's interesting because this came up in the latest chapter of another idol manga that's also very good, Girl Crush.

That was faster than I expected! And yet everyone still got their parts, and the pace didn't feel rushed, simply amazing!

it's interesting how Aria is kinda throwing their entire group into wreck, especially since she recommended Ritsu to be the vanguard. I do get why she did that though, an idol should be a bit versatile, if not their fan might lose interest in them.

Btw, I forgot how old Aria is, can anyone remind me pls?

I love how every chapter is packed with interesting developments. This series is so good at keeping a ton of character arcs moving at once. It never feels like its dragging its feet or just going in circles. A real hidden gem of a series that I hope gets to run as long as the creator wants.
