I don't have the raw with me right now, but from what I remember when I read it, I'm pretty sure Aria's line was "what I recommend will make money" rather than "all my oshi will make money". That's quite the liberal translation you guy came up with. I don't think it's okay to depart this much from the original line.

The word 推し (oshi) in the context of idol culture comes from 推す (osu) which means "to push/to support". The idea is that when someone is your oshi you push for/support them to succeed and reach the top, etc.

Aria's line here uses the phrase 私が推すもの (watashi ga osu mono). A more stiff translation would be "The things/people I push for/support". With the context of the conversation in the episode, we know that Aria is talking about the contestants. She truly cares for and wishes to support them. Plus, we know from previous chapters that Aria takes joy in seeing them perform, grow and improve. The way an idol fan would be happy watching their favorite idol(s). It might be complicated to use a single term to describe what she sees the girls as, but I'm confident that she at least partially sees them as idols she loves. Her oshi.

I don't disagree that we're taking some liberties, but I don't think it is that far removed from the Japanese line. Personally, I believe that translation isn't about just replacing words between languages. What's most important is being able to convey the intentions of the original work.

I won't claim our fan translation is perfect, but I hope now you at least know the reasoning behind our translation choices.
