Same really, was expecting the last two places to be switched and Michiru to be saved by the popular vote.
Personally i would have prefered Urara to leave because her story is done and i think atleast Michiru had some more going on with Karin.
Ah well, i don't mind seeing Michiru go either way

Would not really have felt good for Michiru to be saved by popular vote considering the vote rigging scheme and the possibility of some illegitimate votes having been missed. While it's possible that some legitimate votes were thrown out that could have made up the tight gap between Urara and Michiru, I think it's clearly better for everyone's consciences that the vote rigging didn't pan out.

Suzu and Tsumugi are that unpopular? Can't say I like how Anon and Shuri and in the bottom half too. Looks to me like knees need to be broken and nails pulled out.

The popularity ranking are unrealistic... in what world does Suzu score this little points?

I mean, Suzu literally stood still and froze during her audition, which is like, half of what the audience is shown.

In seriousness though, I doubt Michiru's role in the story ends here. Honestly, I was kinda expecting her to stay beacause Urara was on the latest cover. So I think that there'll be some kind of follow up to the situation around her, either from the company or the public.

At this point in the story the audience has seen only the first challenge or did they see the second already? 'Cause like others said, I believe that's the reason the popularity vote went the way it did. It also makes for an interesting development if immunity by popularity stays as it is, if it's one round behind what they're recording.

they also showed more or less everything in chapter 59, so we can safely say the voting audience has only seen the first and second rounds, or up to chapter 4 of the manga and nothing past that

Once I heard that the popular vote could save someone from elimination and then heard the last three rankings I just knew the Urara wouldn't be the one to go (even if it was only by a little bit) I was thinking it was definetly possible that she stayed after the character development, but at the same time it was possible that she would leave after it too. Still happy to see what she can do later, and im not too sad about Michiru she was never one of my favorites

Luckily the mangaka is popular and sells are good, so we'll keep enjoying this series for a while. About the length, it can be shortened at will as always, nothing stops them from trimming it to "next elimination round: the whole team gets eliminated!" or "the last four in the rankings...". But for now, we'll enjoy some slice of life!

Cant remember it was speculated or said, but iirc we think there will be 3 more eliminations then a 5v5 shootout finale.

Chapter 49.6, Tokunou-sensei said he's planning on holding the final round once it's down to 10 contestants remaining. Whether this'd be a 5v5 or a battle royal remains to be seen.

And I don't think it's actually been mentioned in canon yet, so who knows, maybe plans will change.

I do remember the author said they'd aim for around 20 volumes, going off that we're a little less than halfway through

Karin's theme this whole time has always been if you love me let me gooooooooooo on repeat, it's lowkey getting p sad lol

Urara seeing her muted old friend showering love for her only happened in like 3 panels but the gut punch was imho way stronger than Michiru's relief of her burden … I suppose a flavorful paneling can do that. Manga is such a great medium.
