so working with wood, stone, metal and probably even glass.
maybe house appliences would count as well and magic tools are possible too.
i mean, she has those talismans/scrolls.

Yes. Having another kid ask for and receive candy let her guard down, since it seemed like the woman was giving out candy that wasn't adulterated. Very clever ruse.
