There's always a sweet spot between price and quality. Marcomonde socks are roughly 30 USD, which is definitely pricey for socks, but since socks can be worn in most climates and weather conditions, then it's a safe investment since you know you're going to actually get use out of them. Honestly I kinda wanted him to get the backpack but a quick Google search told me that it costs almost 900 USD, which is definitely out of our MC's normal price point (and mine as well).
