Jesus. Practically zero allies. Someone give the poor girl a break.

This author sure loves red herrings. I'm guessing he actually used that tie cam for that controversial video in the other school and may be doing the same here.

Although with the added objective of fucking with his old bully by showing him what's happening to his daughter which is still pretty fucked up.

Damn I just saw the raw chapter of 8 and it looks like I was wrong about the black haired kid it wasn't him who took a photo of him about to grope shiori he's just oblivious to her getting bullied the real culprit was that girl who's already bullying the bitch is more sinister than i thought....And it looks like our mc aizawa is too far gone he pretty much catches the bullies about to beat up shiori and just walks away damn son 😩

at first i'm totally interest in this manga... i want to know what will the sensei will do with his revenge path for those bullies, but it turnout to be a total mess up revenge, i can't believe he use innocent child to be his revenge material, did he use the excuse "if i can't bully you i'll bully your daughter?" heh don't make me laugh.. that's a word from a total scum while saying this is a part of my revenge...

Maybe I'm reading it the wrong way but i think sensei is replicating the same conditions that led him to being bullied because he wants an answer if things could have been different if the bullied one decided to stop. Now that the test subject cassualy is the daughter of his enemy looks like a collateral win.

Even though he's allowing it, he clearly doesn't like it.

OOOOH! Is MC using a very small camera to get evidences of the bullying and all other stuff ? I suppose it might be how he recorded the bullying in his previous school. Also it indeed looked like he didn't react to the "video" part as if he was the one who did it after all.

God this annoys me. I really had high hopes for this. After reading the first chapter, I believed this would be a manga where the MC takes pleasure from knowing he has replaced his former bully's place as his daughter's father figure. Instead, the MC is purposely spurring on the harassment out of a twisted sense of responsibility due to genetics.

Absolutely repulsive. Obviously the MC is not painted to be the good guy but there is no sense of justification for how the girl is being treated, and the former bully is just ridiculous levels of sadistic and evil. Hoped this would be a manga with some sort of message or moral, instead it's basically just psychological torture porn.

@Riri I didn't. It's also because in the last chapter, Suzuki clearly stated with a smile;

"The reason they were bullied is because of who they are. People who are bullied lack social skills, and can't adapt to their situation. Those kinds of worthless failures... I wouldn't be able to love them."

Words from a man committing adultery and isn't even aware that his daughter is bullied in the first place. He is a blind man who only knows how to look right and is ignorant to what's left.
The mother doesn't even second-guess her daughter's situation because the daughter made her choice to hide her problems from her family by putting up a brave front. The mother only knows that her child is slacking in her studies, and her dirtied appearance accompanied with a (fake) smile, is as the mother said, "unsightly".

Next chapter - the girl hangs herself, end of the story. Police makes bullies end up in youth detention center and MC ends up in jail for complicity (regardless of whether he really was allowing bulling or had some grand scheme in mind). Moral of the story not reached sadly, thank you for reading

I believe Aizama was not the one groping and filming the girl. Nevertheless, he stood by and let the bullying unfold under his watch. maybe even acquiesce to it. Whatever his motive is , I hope the manga won't attempt to justify his complicity in Shiori's ordeal.

Regarding Suzuki, I have a feeling he doesn't care about his daughter like he pretends to. There is something very superficial about the way he talks to Shiori, just like with everyone else.

THEORY!:

You know what l know how this is going, painting the MC in the bad light, but what if he wasn't the one who recorded the video of the daughter being harassed/what if he wasn't the harasser.
I don't think it would be too far fetched to believe that the only reason he is going along with the bullying is to record/ gather enough evidence against the bullies (since we were shown a hidden camera in his tie, something that wouldn't really be necessary to show since everything is hinting to him stealing the daughter's phone and recording 'that video'. Like they plant seed the doubt in our mind the very moment he goes to give the daughter her phone just for her to later find out that there was a video of her being harassed in it). Like every time we saw the daughter getting bullied he would just stand there doing nothing, couldn't he simply be doing that to record the acts of those girls?? If he were to involve himself as soon as he saw the bullying there is a high chance the bullies would simply get off the hook by them only apologising, causing in turn them bullying the daughter even more but this time being even more carefu,l to make the sure the teachers won't find out (its possible that if the word of the bullying also spread the girl's father may start treating her poorly because she in his opinion would've become the type of weak person he despised. So it's entirely possible MC is trying to avoid that). Another thing if he was doing this purely for revenge or out of amusement and just to see his past bully's daughter suffering the same way he did wouldn't he show some of those feeling on his face? (Like yea maybe he's really good at covering up his emotions but if the guy is petty enough to bully a young girl (and possibly ruin her life the same way his life was ruined) wouldn't he atleast show a smile & wouldn't stay so stone faced looking completely dead inside??).
Another thing when the straight hair bully girl showed the friend 'the video' it didn't seem like was sent to her by someone as she seemed awfully calm (cuz even if she was bullying the daughter there would atleast be a little surprise on her face since she just got sent a video of someone getting harassed by an anonymous person), isn't it possible that either her or one of the other bullies recorded it? Specially when we have been told that the bully girls did indeed visit her in the infirmary (and later just gave the MC the phone, cuz apparently "he's in on the bullying?").

(EDIT: l went back and reread this chapter & remember how the daughter told him that he always smiles when he lies, well when the straight haired bully girl talks to him about him "taking their side" he smiles after the girl leaves, possibly hinting that he is lying about simply going along with them/is putting a fake facade of being with the bullies.
I honestly really hope l'm not looking too into this manga just for it to simply have a shitty twist of the main guy being sadist asshole. And it it would also be really annoying if this comment aged badly after me going wayy too into the story.)

So l'm going to wait before l deem the main guy shitty since l doubt that this manga is going to end this way, specially when the first few chapters made us feel sympathy for him just for the manga to put a bad twist and make him the bad guy. (If it does then that would be a big yikes)

@Akaneio
I have the idea that he is not trying to get a revenge. He want to make a shitstorm, he want to go viral. The ultimate goal is to challenge the japanese "bullying victims deserve to be bullied" mentality.
He want to record and release what happen to a social, cute, girl that was getting along with her classmate when something lead to a certain situation. Even if someone would say "that was your plot, it was because you" it would be his victory anyway, cause it would prove that bullying is not just the consequence of social ineptitude. But can be organized on purpose against anyone no matter their social skills.

I hope beyond hope that the authors will give Shiori a somewhat happy ending like in that other story, but something is telling me that this time they´re going straight for the suicide route...
