There’s only been like one instance where a publisher themselves told Mangadex to take translations down - years back when Viz requested the takedowns of One Piece, MHA, Demon Slayer, One Punch Man, Act-Age, and Way of the Househusband.

All other instances, the only takedowns have been voluntary - in other words, the scanslators do it because the official release is offered in a better way.

At that time, I think a Viz lawyer contacted Tristan ( or Holo mb) direclty in Discord lol.

I will say it's nice how the author added those extra drawings at the end of chapter 1 and 2 (since the tone of the manga went right down, the first two seem so out of pocket)
