@Askorti No he's a pretty obvious masochist/submissive, Nagatoro's even called him out on it saying that he should be more mad at the way she treats him.
But it's also why she feels safe with him that he'll not take advantage of her but why she recognizes that her friends will take it too far and break him, is what I think the Author is trying to represent.

I think there's an element of that, but I also think Nagatoro's just a bit immature at this point and doesn't know how to express her affection any other way than through teasing. She doesn't want to hurt him for real, but she has a bit of trouble knowing where to draw the line, as can be seen when she feels regretful about going too far. But yeah, she definitely doesn't want anybody else to hurt him.
