I still think the New World's gonna side with Team Cleo against the Will of the Moon or whatever it is, in a "go find your own planet to conquer, I was here first!" sort of way.

Has the team mentioned whether they will do the ten or so missing chapters between 40 and 50?

The "missing" chapters were all officially translated. We've just been working on the ones since the series came back from hiatus because the publisher that was doing an official release hasn't been (and hasn't commented even on when/if they will start again). There aren't any plans to redo any of the ones that already got released officially.
