Can anyone tell me what the heck this spot says? ><

There are a couple of sections like that in this chapter. The translators need to keep an eye out for it, and maybe slap a white outline of the text or something.

Still, thanks for the chapter.

I wish I could handle spice. My tongue and stomach cannot process anything spicy. I can only have a few spoonfuls of the boxed Vermont curry in Japan.
Or the curries made with coconut milk they aren't spicy. So envious :angery:

It feels like the typesetter is a novice and/or experimenting with borders, because starting from the next page the text borders are enormous 4-6 pixel wide, making the text covering too much from the art...
Usually 1-2 pixels are more than enough, and can be further "thinned" by applying gaussian blur.

There is a close-to-unreadable text in page 15:

After zooming in I think it reads as:
Fusion Magic Flare Thunder!!

It's rare for isekai manga to not glorify japanese food, and this manga seems that one ( also no drama from bumping people?! Me suprise ).... The gem lady is hot :3

R-really? It's that spicy..??
You literally can't taste anything but pain lmao. It was goat curry that some Punjabi people who owned a gas station near where I live sold. They also sold vegetarian and chicken curry. If it's an authentic place they usually never have beef because I'm pretty sure a lot of Indian people hold cattle as sacred. I could be wrong tho.

One funny memory I have from an Indian restaurant (with an Indian owner) is how in the neighbouring table a middle-aged couple was complaining to a waitress that they couldn't eat their food because it's too hot. The waitress tried to explain to them that they had already ordered the mildest level of spiciness and it would be impossible to make it any milder. I always picked the medium level, which was exactly as hot as I could eat. Above that were still hot and extra hot. If someone picked extra hot, the staff would double check to verify the customer knows what they are doing. That being said, apparently above the extra hot was still the "commonplace genuine Indian" level, which wasn't served to my countrymen at all, unless it was a loyal customer the staff could already personally recognise.

Wasabi hit differently than chili. And this was drawn to show that it is "authentic" Indian curry. Not the Japanese curry we usually saw in manga.
plus you're supposed to put a tiny speck of it on stuff, as opposed to curry sauce which would have more 'heat/spice' mixed throughout for the spicy options lol

Ah, I personally don't really like when they make an isekai, and then it's all about how great the original world is, and how they are trying to reproduce it.
If you are going to have an isekai story, let it be about the isekai.
Things like this are often a sign that the author has started running out of ideas.
