always fantastic. i love how natural and real the conversations feel. although that can be frustrating in it's own way, it makes it all the more satisfying when they reach the conclusion.

Oof I've been in Emiri's spot in that kind of conversation, never fun and always awkward. It's always interesting to see how other characters react to Makio being kind of an unusual, but generally decent, person. Even if she doesn't do all the things they expect her to as a guardian.

I also like how we're getting another outside perspective on Minori from Mrs. Nara. I don't think we can ever really get a perfect picture of who the sister/mom was but it's an aspect of the story I keep trying to puzzle out whenever the author decides to hand over a few more pieces.

Wuaaah... the Dad! I totally forgot about him, I mean... it was all about her mom so far, and now we know they weren't even "married" for some reason. That's odd but I wonder if that's gonna play a bigger role in the future.
Emiri's mom is a lot nicer than I expected, looks like her daughter won't have much trouble speaking to her when the time comes... Well, I hope so!

Also........ Asa *Sigh* didn't you say two chapters ago how you unintentionally hurt your friends feelings because you were talking without any care? and pushing your beliefs on them, and here you are pushing your way through Emiri's life a little too hard, the moment she said she doesn't want a boyfriend that should've been enough to leave it be, but you want her to have one for your own amusement... That's... BAD. Makio's influence on Emiri really helped, because she could've snapped at Asa if she was still confused about herself.

I really like how many "human" characters this author can make, I can get enough of how REAL this feels! I think this is the first time I will ever say this but this manga could work as a live action better than as anime but you REAAALLY need great actors to play this.

Something random, I'm confused with this manga calling her witch and also calling her queen (Makio) .... like, just pick one! lo/

Thanks for the update! it just keeps getting better

I don't know what it is about eating out at restaurants but that seems to be a time when people like to confront others about their romantic life. Poor Emiri just wanted to enjoy her parfait.

I like Emiri's mama!! Though, I can't help but be weirded out by the idea of referring to someone as So-and-so's mom right to their face. Maybe that's the result of being raised in a more individualistic culture.

Also, I'm glad we're learning a bit more about Asa's dad. The dude's rarely ever mentioned, it seems he wasn't the sort to leave much of an impression. I hope an old friend of Asa's mother shows up to shed more light onto the relationship Asa's parents had.

@Kewl0210 Thanks for the new chapter. It's going to feel weird when your group is going to get caught up with the RAW and there's going to be nothing but magazine chapters to be translated.

Many Thanks again to you and your group for all you have done for this series.

OMG Emiri's Mom was alot better then I thought she would be, so dam cute crying like a lil dogo, that scene also made me sad and I could relate to Asa's Mom so dam much since I too have WAYYYYYY too high standards and I beat the shit out of others but mostly myself for it OTL def a curse

@gda19 you gota remember that Asa has already gotten complained at that she has a problem about being insensitive when it comes to others like that one girl with good looks and she cried for it when asa complimented her but its also frustrating because Asa doesn't know how to fix that yet and I think it could take a while especially since she has to deal with the emotions of her dead parents

but yeah atm seems like Emiri has come to terms with that she is gay but isn't ready to say anything to others yet and BOYYYYYY did I cringe hard when Asa kept pushing it and calling it weird and such, I literally thought either Emiri or Makio would've freaked out and screamed with anger at the other thank god that didn't happen this ch

@Betony As I understand it, Japanese parents often refer to each other as "mom" and "dad", like the role subsumes their individual selves (at least at home). Now that weirds me out.

lmao I've been on both sides of that Asa/Emiri conversation. Being aro/ace and also being bored enough as a teenager to question my friend's love life hoping to get something juicy.

Also Emiri's mom is a lot more...adaptable(?) than Emiri made her seem.

What chapter was it that Emri and Makio had their talk? I want to re-read it but I don't want to re-read the whole manga to this point to find one conversation.

New chapter and new one-liner from Emily. Let's hear all people who'd wandered in here by accident droning on about themselves... again. Or from their easily excitable groupies.

Bringing cringe to such a good title.
