I think this arc was just poorly written, everything was great until they introduced the 2nd Prince.
Maybe I will reread it all later but it just seems to be bad writing when it comes to whatever the situation is.

wow this chapter was poorly written or poorly translated i'm not sure which but what the prince said makes no sense took a situation and made it 10 times more complicated.
For a ML right now he seems like an arrogant pain.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was completely lost. That was waaaay overcomplicated for what really happened, he was just dancing around the issue and questioning her like she was fucking 7, and she responded like she was fucking 7. I appreciate that the fl isn’t getting her way all the time and is being called out for being arrogant, cause she kinda is like why don’t you have a back up plan or more forethought? But this guy is just waaaay too much of a jerk, I liked that he was portrayed as having a super strong sense of justice but this is just sadistic. Honestly I feel like their conversation could've been shorted to like 5 sentences but instead we got this confusing rambling bullshit.

I'm so confused and the fact that the image quality was so poor really did not help. Between confusingly bad visuals, confusing translation, and confusingly bad writing, I think I went a little cross eyed trying to figure out what was going on in this chapter. I honestly dont think it was the translation team's fault at the end of the day, though, this entire thing was so convoluted and uneccesary for the plot. It could have been pushed into a third of this chapter and had better effect

He seems to like belittling people doubled with a jerk personality,and even if he is the one who is played with ( due to the teacher homework) , he is still the one who should hate himself the most since he is the most arrogant, confident with his knowledge out of the 2 🙃

I'm confused and I can only make guesses - is it that the butler is actually a middleman involved with the scam? Maybe that's how even the maids and other employees knew about this "investment opportunity" because the butler was secretly spreading it. So when FL recruited the butler (and maybe others) in her plans, the butler used her plans for his own agenda too and so technically FL got involved in the scam unknowingly and can be framed as an accomplice and so ML questioned her why her confidence/biases/blindspots got herself into trouble and still didn't realize it although he arrogantly gave her a chance to try to convince him she's not involved? and now since she agreed she'd face the consequences, so she technically got into a disadvantaged position and have to make a deal with the prince and so that's how they work together as a fake couple thingy as seen in early intro chp.
