I came in because I wanted to see some pretty basic "house" drama and the MC to pretty much go off on his own and become his own man and have all these great achievements...over a long period of time. I didn't expect half this stuff to happen until at least 50 chapters in.This story is moving at such a brisk pace, one sec learning magic, next absorbing dragon, now a bunch of random familiars and the Queen bowing down to him for his assistance, it feels all over the place like marking off various task from a checklist of achievements
There are always hidden enemies, see Dragonball for example!Yet here we are 11 chapters in and the dude has amassed his own nation. Really? I mean, there's really nothing to do anymore. That's it, he's accomplished his goal. He's independent, he can study magic freely, he's got followers, it's all done. There's nothing left for the story to really do at this point other than just watch it repeat how great and amazing MC is.
Or its trying to set up for somthing, that he is founding it on a land that can float and can save humanity from extinction. Is this trying to be the founding a island nation that survives above a apocalyptic land event? We have seen many stories set on one, or against one, but seeing it being made is often brushed over. If we think of all this so far as laying a foundation for the real plot of founding that nation, suddenly it makes sense that everything is so rushed, after all how much of what he has right now will be lost if the surface is lost. A queens backing, when her country vanishes that means little. The things that have been focused on and developed are things he would be able to keep after losing the surface, the author probable didn't care to put time and detail into things that would disappear and not matter later.I came in because I wanted to see some pretty basic "house" drama and the MC to pretty much go off on his own and become his own man and have all these great achievements...over a long period of time. I certainly hope it's something like that, it always hurts when a series fails to reach it's potential.Or its trying to set up for somthing, that he is founding it on a land that can float and can save humanity from extinction. Now all that is on the optimistic side, on the flip side this could just be generic trash. We will see.
Well, there are a bunch of few country management mangas out there, but those usually have better writing than this one, and don't just wave a magic wand to solve all problems immediately. In other words, there is more potential, but it's not likely to be much different from now. There's nothing left for the story to really do at this point other than just watch it repeat how great and amazing MC is.
Really felt like that should have been the case, didn't it?Page 26 is missing from this release.
It is going rather fast, but it's still ongoing at 33 chapters, so wouldn't worry too much. Not the best adaption, but seems to be doing alright.I feel like this manga is getting axed, like the amount of SHIT that happened in a few chapters makes it look like we are speedrunning to the end.
I actually kinda hoped that it got axed, feel like it would be more entertaining that way.It is going rather fast, but it's still ongoing at 33 chapters, so wouldn't worry too much. Not the best adaption, but seems to be doing alright.
