@Boomburst Ah, but you've gotta remember that this world was originally a video game where the attitudes would have been based on modern (Japanese) standards; most cultures are usually pretty put off by haughty, domineering women, but laud the cute, timid ones like the game's protagonist, so despite it being
exceedingly common throughout history for the aristocracy and nobility to be arrogant and belittling towards those of lower class, any noble character that's intended to be liked (such as, say, the love interest in an otome game) will have their beliefs fully in line with modern sensibilities, while the antagonistic nobles will have their more historically appropriate attitudes put on full display.
@Duainfey There's no indication that Bakarina's been axed, especially with an upcoming anime, so you don't have to worry about that.
