in these isekai they always want to make cosmetics but do you have any idea how unrealistic it is that a layman could make something like that?

It's realistic and very fucking simple to make cosmetics.

We invented cosmetics and skin care at least 3000 years before the goddamn wheel. We didn't knew math or write, but we did know how to artificially make us look dashing.

What's baffling they have castles, uniforms, carriages, social structure and whatnot but don't have soap and road infrastructure?!?
But, I let it pass, writing love stories doesn't really need to have logic in it... does it?
