Yeah, figured the 4th elder was the traitor ever since mc wasn’t able to get a read on her.


@MCX01 4th elder (blue haired) was actually the traitor. She pretended she was about to get assassinated and had the MC save her. That was the whole catalyst that brought mc, matriarch and her together. Remember how MC keep trying to test her out even by confessing to her, but couldn’t read her? That’s because it’s all pretend. She is practicing the same thing as the nun from the blissful temple, that’s why MC couldn’t get a read on her. She’s also the one holding most of the so-called evidence.
She actually was just playing the victim, which 1) brought the matriarch’s trust even tho before they were on opposite sites, and 2) used that to pit the 3rd elder and the matriarch against each other. The enforcer and the nun they captured were on it too. The enforcer played lovers to the 3rd elder on her side, and probably fed her lies too to fuel the animosity.

As said by Keimichi, the three elders seems to be also acting at this point now since the 3 elders excluding 4th elder had a meeting prior to the events at present also, the other readers seems to be slow witted or just straight out "mentally challenged" to not see some clue scattered throughout the story and is just reading without thinking. Use your head before judging that it is getting "repetitive" without knowing what is going on in the series as this is not your "usual" manhua.

I get it. I can see the clues. The thing is why? What's the point of destroying this group. Are all the traitors all secretly leaders of the Blissful group or leaders of another group and they wanted to completely rob this group's assets?

But what assets though? Every elder seems to have their own separate vaults and stuff with their own separate fighting styles that unless your the MC, with his cheat way to strengthen skills from different styles easily, doesn't seem worth robbing from.

To be fair, it's extremely difficult (for me at least) to follow a complex story with Chinese names mixed in with (to me unknown) foreign titles such as "3rd elder" etc. especially when frequently interchanged.
Also lets not forget that these Chinese names often change in accordance with the characters relations to each other, for example "Xiao" something when saying "little [name]" calling out to a younger friend or relative.

So yeah the cultural barrier is seriously real with Chinese manga. Saying people are mentally challenged for not figuring things out is a bit harsh.
The last panel is also a bit misleading which seems to cause most of the confusion.

Enforcer Ye and The 4th Elder(Wei Rudao) are in on this.
My Speculations: The Enforcer Ye got close to The Great Elder(Wu lingxuan) in order to cause strife between her and the Matriarch(Yu Hongyan); pretended to fall in love with her(Wu lingxuan) and since she practices a cultivation that makes her uglier the stronger she gets, she was gullible, so she fell in love with Ye Gucun(Enforcer Ye). Yu Hongyan's cultivation technique makes her prettier the stronger she gets. Wei Rudao practices a cultivation technique that is based on Wu lingxuan and Yu Hongyan's both cultivation techniques ( The uglier and Prettier; Yin and Yang conversion; polar opposites).

The 4th Elder, Wei Rudao was working with the blissful Temple (Ji Leguan) and Ye Gucun(Enforcer Ye) was working with Wei Rudao. So that is how they were able to set up their plans of bringing chaos in the sect using the jade token, Ye Gucun received from his supposedly "lover", Wu lingxuan, and in the midst the chaos they will activate the great sect formation in order to alert/signal the blissful temple to attack the sect when everyone is preoccupied with their fights but.....

"The System has no rival under the heavens", The MC (Xie Yan) deduced that since the people in this world practice the Dao(The path, the way...etc), meaning casting your other selves in order to attain great power, and also the fact that the System isn't recording emotion points(converting emotions into origin points) despite it being accurate at getting any type of emotions, he realized that Bai Yuyan the captive and the 4th Elder, Wei Rudao might be acting out their emotions rather than it being genuine and that is why , he can't get any origin points out of them. After realizing this, he set up a meeting with Yu Xuanji(3rd Elder) along with his enemies: The Great Elder and the 2nd Elder(Red haired), in order to explain what he had deduce was happening and how to take advantage of this situation to catch the 4th Elder(Wei Rudao) in action along with her allies by putting on an act like they had no idea about what is happening and even fooled the Matriarch, Yu Hongyan, who was not told of the secret plan they had discussed....for the details of the plan and how they plan on catching them..let wait and see.
