I can not understand why everyone wants to translate chapters that are already translated on the website of the original translator.
in the end, whatever the stories are, it does not matter ...
soon there will be no more difference between mangadex and a website that shares content without asking translators.
Initially the goal of mangadex is to help small translator to bring readers to their website and help out when their site is too weak

now the fact that a team has made drama justifies them to snipe their content

personally i feel guilty when i read a chapters on mangadex if the translation team has a website.
But when I read the comments on mangadex for a few days, I think that most people here do not give a fuck and personally I think it's crazy, because this website has become counterproductive
one day no one will be able to live from his translations and there will be only a few translators who do not have any financial problems and who will stop overnight, because nothing holds them here
the other option will be the official translations that are rare, slow and expensive
and maybe some team that will have survived, but who will take advantage of it to make outrageous prices

@Gauvain we are not sniping the project from that said group. They have told us that they were dropping that project and hence we took over (a long ago) before the drama.

Anyway, Readers are still going to continue reading from MD where we upload, and thus to give the best experience we would naturally like to provide the previous chapters that were translated, here as well. Nothing related on sniping at all.

@Gauvain
"now the fact that a team has made drama justifies them to snipe their content"
The team left mangadex, another team decided to translate it for mangadex... no "sniping" here, just a team that decided to leave a service, and a team that decided that the story was interesting enough that they want it to continue being on the service.

"soon there will be no more difference between mangadex and a website that shares content without asking translators."
Except that is the whole premise behind mangadex... What you're saying makes no sense seeing as one of mangadex's core tenets is to follow the scanlators' wishes...
If what you are saying comes to pass then mangadex would no longer be mangadex.

"personally i feel guilty when i read a chapters on mangadex if the translation team has a website."
Okay, then go read manga on their website. Mangadex provides you with the group's name and a link to it... Literally nothing is stopping you from doing so.

"one day no one will be able to live from his translations"
that is bullshit. I would argue most people scanlate as a hobby or a pastime. Most of us get paid jack shit, and only a very very small percentage of us can actually live off of this.

"the other option will be the official translations that are rare, slow and expensive"
Well, uh, they are the literal cost of the manga... You complain a few lines above that translators aren't getting paid and now you're shitting on official releases for being too expensive? Make up your mind mate.

"and maybe some team that will have survived, but who will take advantage of it to make outrageous prices"
When did you ever see a scanlation team block content behind a paywall? No. really.

All in all a pretty stupid reply capitalising on the drama that occured recently...
It was a pleasure proving you wrong.

@Iota

I was talking about what I could read for other series, for the one you're talking about I only had your message
it's a criticism of my general feeling of the current situation

Regardless of whether another group is scanlating this or not (if they deliberately decided to not upload to mangadex, then honestly i couldn't care less about them),
thanks for the work!
(no, seriously, thanks)

@Allexio
you have taken up every point that I have written and you have interpreted them as you wish to make them say what I did not say.
It's not very nice of you

It would be astonishing that you do not know yourself, since it is obvious that when you choose to answer a precise point of a sentence when you are quoting it entirely.
in this case I do not see the interest to go further, because even if I put your nose in you will not assume.
and it is obvious that you have never left the small world of mangadex, because it is obvious that you do not know the practices of translation teams trying to make money.

@Gauvain sounds like your choosing to run away with your tail between your legs to be honest. The guy broke down your comment and listed reasons why your interpretation of the situation is wrong and your faulty logic. You could have chosen not to say anything but instead you post a cowardly remark about how the guy is too biased to understand when your too cowardly to even refute his points.
