Sooo...imposter syndrome/fake it to you make it? Unless he actually gets some kinda 'system' versus overcompensating /based on the summary?(then again they wouldn't send some 'unskilled' person all the way to italy even to be a sub outta pity or pulled strings but it's nice if he has his own skills)
