I think the author needed a reason for her to be "different" than all his other, more temporary, targets so that he'd want to keep her around forever instead of getting bored after a year or whatever

This makes more sense than "let's make the handsome man even more unique/quirky then solve it permanently in the very next chapter so it impacts nothing" thanks

This is honestly how I feel about this webtoon and so many lol
not even a effort to try to do something interesting just tick the case for "problems solved"

It was mentioned how she's so slow and can't keep up with her brothers in the previous chapter, but suddenly she could just outrun her brother now? And not even by a little, she has time to look around the garden, picks up the berries, got hurt by it's thorn, and went back to the dining room 🗿🗿🗿
