My 10 worth translation experience are not match with your 6 year's TL ing experience and all other resources you build along the way.

For the pas few hours i wonder if it would be better if you find and upload this manga first than me. Yeah, i think it would be better.

I'll delete my uploaded chapter so you can own this by yourself and your standards.

Fairly sure this is a duplicate entry for the same manga as one I read a couple days ago. Uncertain what the other entry used as name, but at least the contents were the same and the entries needs to be merged.

Sooo much drama for things I mostly didn't even say (because I didn't feel that way).

Look, on the good side:

• You are decent at TS.
• You do things that usually wouldn't get any scanslation at all, so the fact they get done at all is great.
• MTL gets you 90% right.
• You are decent at editing what comes out of the MTL to fix all the pronoun errors (which a lot of big pay-for-MTL groups don't even bother with).
• It is legitimately interesting to look at your version side by side to see what MTL gets wrong. It's extremely typical, and it's not your fault, it's just what J2E gets wrong. Yes, I consider this a positive.

On the bad side:

• MTL is only 90% right (but better than nothing).
• You miss a lot in this one by not being able to translate the sfx (no need to redraw) because there's so much of it and it carries so much information ('GAWR!').

Really, the thing I disliked most, which I didn't even mention, is the begging for money for fan scanslations - but that's a completely separate issue which will never be resolved, has nothing to do with the quality of your chapters.

You might be thinking of this very same entry. It used to have an MTL chapter before this one, but the person who made it deleted it yesterday, so now this is the only English chapter available, so it might have looked like this is a duplicate entry when it's just the same but with some uploads shenanigans.

...wish uploads were not deleted without good reason, so if the reason is "quality" it gets merely hidden instead. Or even simply marked as lower quality somehow. Avoids this kind of confusion where you re-read something because it's not marked as read, and then when you realize it is a duplicate chapter, you at least know it is not a duplicate entry. But that would be/is a MD feature/issue/thing and not uploader/tl thing.

ps: I don't remember the other version's quality even being particularly bad. Like sure, this is better. But the other was not like some of the other mtl's I have seen where I actively wish it had never come to my attention (aka it was not bad).

High school kids say 'peak' out loud all the time here. I actually hold myself back from accurately rendering how cringe their speech is because people would tell me I had brainrot and that could not be real.

Now it makes more sense with that approach, I'm just not around young people these days so it felt awkward, as I don't know anyone who would say this unironically in that situation x)
