the explanation of the poison being one more used for torture rather than killing. Thane is sidelined a bit in arc 2 so the poison sticking around gives a good explanation as to why he's not able to help. Also gives a potential plot for arc 2 to fix if we get there.

I do still love how Alter is presented. At the end of the day, Alter is still a part of Lilly's personality, it's just the parts she's so ashamed of she disassociates it away. It's not the saintess's fault after all; it's the fault of someone else.
