Sobbing mess.
The main 2 things that truly mess me up in this series is
(1) The story about Rae and Claire
(2) What happened with Claire’s mother.

I rarely ever cry but the amount I’ve sobbed especially in the novel is baffling

I doubt anime ever gets there really. Manga might take a long while too since it's monthly. But I agree with you. Can't wait. In the meantime I've been enjoying Claire's POV in the "She's so Cheeky for a Commoner" LNs and that's been great to revisit. Can't wait for the sequel series too, whenever that happens. I underestimate how much I enjoy this series, then I realize how much of it I've read, in many different versions. Normally I don't do that, but this apparently has its hooks in me.

At this point in the main plot I don't think Clair would mind being woken with a kiss. A few seconds after it, however, she'd then go very tsun for a while afterwards because she can't stop thinking about it.
