Yes, what she did was terrible and inexcusable, but beating the living shit out of her won't get Shouji out of this situation!
The best way to get Shouji out of it is to get the girl to confess that her claim was false, but in order to do that, violence won't cut it. You need to make her understand the gravity of her actions, and starting off by pointing fingers or acting aggressively will only make her more defensive, and given her status of victim at this point, it only gives everyone else more reason to believe in her side of the story.

At the end of the day, we still have the salted and scorched earth that is the accused's reputation.

There is no "fixing this". This will hang over this guy for a long time. We have real life situations where this has happened and the people afflicted just become wandering ghosts: No one will acknowledge them or touch them. Even after the truth comes out. These people literally would have to displace themselves at their own cost, far away from where the "alleged incident" occurred.

The only story where it dives into something like this is Persona 5 where the main characters remove the self created mental barrier within the person's mind and that person is hit with a tidal wave of repressed guilt for their bad actions. This "could" work, but it would provide that this girl has any semblance of a conscience. And this isn't Persona 5.

Where do we go from here then? Huh? I'm left with a pot of boiling rage that can't be displaced. The author created this horrific mess and just magically hand waving it away will just make it worse in the long run. There needs to be comeuppance. There needs to be an equal punishment. There needs to be actual justice. There. Needs. To. Be. Correction.
