Over the period covered by the stats I cited (1987-2015), the US population grew by about 32%. So the
percentage of men attempting to enter the K-12 teaching force didn't change that much one way or the other. The demand for teachers did, however, and women responded in kind.
Moving on, race would only seem "relevant" in this discussion to a bigot, so with your kind permission, I'll just leave that turd where you dropped it.
If you can factually support
any direct, causal relationship between accusations of pedophilia and the representation of men in the US K-12 teaching force, please feel free to cite your data. Absent such support, I'll have to assume that you're resorting, ironically, to false allegations
False allegations
are sometimes made, of course. They're inevitable and occur for every type of crime. But there's no good reason to think that false allegations of sex crimes against children are much more prevalent than false allegations of other roughly similar types of crimes. Even if we go with the high end of well-supported estimates and suppose that 10% of child sex crime prosecutions arise from false accusations, it's clear that actual sex crimes by adults against children are
much more common (overall US conviction rates for such prosecutions are around 80%).
That's the real problem. In that context, what-abouting the apparently unremarkable incidence of false allegations is both intellectually dishonest and morally bankrupt.
The only thing that really threatens men today are the violent tendencies of other men. Same as since the dawn of time. So if you
really want to protect the unjustly threatened,
cksn, you should be fighting to make gun ownership by men (and only by men) illegal. A modest proposal, if you will...
