How many chapters do you think this one is going to be? I remember the novel being relatively short, like that one where the girl wants to marry the uhh. . . Demon king? I don't remember what he was, but he
turned into a dragon near the end when those dumbasses tried raping the heroine.
Either way, I remember the novel for both this and that one were on the shorter side. I remember finishing it in one sitting, even.
Pretty satisfying ending too at that! I think. . . It's been a while, cut me some slack.
@feha: To use an explanation give in one series (it's not translated to my knowledge)
There is no 'game world', but there exist a world similar to it out there. The game dev had a dream about that world, and from the bits and pieces of it they saw they created a game based on that.
Although in that series it kinda goes full circle
The game world the MC wanted to go to was about to have an expansion released that she missed out due to the whole dying thing.
However with the MC's reincarnation there the game dev get a dream of her exploits and change the event boss of that expansion to be based on her.
It seems that unlike in the original story, there may be a sort of faction war brewing between the kids that support Claudia and the kids that support Amelia. Dark that is not evil against Light that is not good (or at least smart). Amelia seems to be coming off as more than a little unhinged, while Claudia still has her ingrained bias issues to deal with.
People might not like the trope of the heroine also being reincarnated that turns out to be the villainess and is a bit dumb.
But I like this one because the heroine is exceedingly stupid lol. It's like Palimony but this one focuses more on hardships due to her having the power of darkness in comparison to being fully comedic without much trouble from the antagonist.
I dislike this piece of shit writing intesively.
Making the heroine into an unlikeable piece of garbage that lacks all ability of reading the room, yet somehow gets her girlcock stroked by some randos is cringy.
The genre was interesting because it allowed the Akuyaku Reijou-Archetype to shine, but the hackjob writers who copy every good idea to it's destruction just made the "villianess" into a "can do no wrong" and the heroine into a villianess without even noticing the irony.
@WhimsiCat Oh, like "It Seems Like I Got Reincarnated Into The World of a Yandere Otome Game" this also has its own cool explanation for why they're in a seemingly game world?
I still love that novel's theory the best even though it might not be the most complex and well thought out thing ever. It was just a clever little concept for a short and cute story.
There is a minor side-character in the story she at some point meets that didn't appear in the game. He seems to be able to see different possibilities of the current timeline...not the future, just how the present could've gone differently. He writes them down and MC finds that out through accident. She sees the possibility that the game took where she is a villain and the heroine ends up with the ML (something she deviated from) so she thought he was a reincarnator too...but happens to be not. She asks him about yanderes (cause that's the main theme of the story) and he doesn't know of it, but gets way too into the idea of it and she ends up realizing that he might be the one who reincarnates into her original world later on and regains his memory like her then makes the game that she played. As to her theory of how they regain their memory, it's by coming across something that they've known in their previous life. For her it was the events of the game that triggered her memory, and for him it's the existence of the yandere troupe in modern stories that he heard from the MC. So it's not really a game world, but a game based around a different world. (Anyway, he actually had his own ships in the visions he used to see so he didn't have the original events be a part of one of the game's routes. He also didn't include himself in it. And although everybody is not a yandere, he turned them all into one cause he really likes that troupe...which ended up causing the MC massive paranoia when she thought she was in a world filled with yanderes. lol)
@Jeikob yeah, the novel of this one is really short since is just 1 volume, but the I'm a Villainous Daughter, so I'm going to keep the Last Boss one is longer, but manga just adapted the volume 1 of the LN most likely just to promote the LN, there is a total of 7 volumes of the LN by now, dunno if author plan to do more for it (volume 7 of the LN is kinda extra story or something i think, like different routes or what if)
