Honestly this is very mediocre.
At least its short, had a happy ending and some things were just done right. But there are SOOO many problems here and there.
The biggest issue people point out is the skin colour one.
Lemme rant for a bit here...
Ok now time for actual analysis:
Thematically this looks like a blunder.
A proper way to go with a story where everyone is prejudiced against a character for something like skin colour is to either make people accept them, make it a tragedy or a revenge.
Here's the thing, its not just about skin colour.
To be fair, the world was properly set up for this. We are already shown that most people just have fear and distrust towards the dark spirit king because of the myth which they failed to fully analyse.
There are some other minor inconsistencies.
It doesn't make sense that children of nobles would just be walking/running around with no guards at all. Claudia is an exception, the Prince has powers, sure but what about the others?
Why didn't any other spirit show up for anything? Wasn't the whole kingdom about having spirits?
Also isn't she in a Duke's household? Barely felt like it.
Did ranks stop mattering at some point even though there's an aristocracy?
The Prince liking her is ok, its whatever.
What's up with that meeting room?
Can you say anything memorable about the academy itself?
People liking Claudia after getting to know her better is nice and that's how stories like this usually are. That's the norm. But it sucks that didn't apply well everywhere.
Did her little brother stop existing after that?
Did Amelia finally come to her senses?
Did we get any significant character growth? (Maybe Claudia will be more cheerful after and try to fix her relationship with her mother?)
That controversial "white-washing" is okay with how I think the story was going but it was still executed poorly in my opinion. People complaining about it didn't fix anything either.
I think the world-building is very very underdeveloped. Typical.
Most of the characters are stupid in some way.
The antagonist is very annoying and not at all interesting.
Definitely a rushed ending.
Some things are still not resolved.
Art is nice.
Overall 7/10 and can't go any higher.

Ok so her parents have light skin and (blonde?) hair but she got darker skin and hair because of the dark spirit king while she was in the womb. What actually makes her skin dark is most likely the blessing but at what level is it applied? Is it genetic? Hormones? An illusion? The dark spirit king making his blessed look a little darker is aesthetically understandable. I don't think thise spirit guys like show off much so its unlikely that they're always applying an illusion. So its more likely to be physiological.
I liked that colour because it looks similar to m-
What's even weider is how it just changed in an instant. (But its magic so doesn't really matter)
Why not an intermediate colour? That's how skin works and the hair being black still makes sense as it's a dominant trait.
I know that she probably just got her "original" skin colour back after the dark and light crap cancelled each other or something. And it doesn't look she got more exposure to the sun compared to others (even after the war thing) or anything so it makes sense that her real colour would be light-ish.
You know what? After thinking about it, the logic of her skin colour changing is alright but it just doesn't work for the sake of telling a type of story.

To be fair, the world was properly set up for this. We are already shown that most people just have fear and distrust towards the dark spirit king because of the myth which they failed to fully analyse.
People fear both the light and dark spirits and treat both of them in a way which negatively influences both of girls but in different ways.
But for some reason the stigmatization is over-exaggerated here to the point of her own parents distancing themselves from her. Ok so fear beats love for one's own child here but the two royals are the only ones smart, brave or kind enough to treat her nicely? Butler's loyalty makes sense, as it should.
Again, this isn't just about colour. Colour is all most people can see but most of them also know how dangerous her powers are. This is also about some legacy and superstition or something.
People naturally tend to distrust anything that looks a little foreign/different which is understandable.
Pretty much everyone is scared of both girls in some way, which means nobody corrects them properly and they would end up in a bad way.
People are scared of Claudia so much they barely interact with her which makes her less social and that's how she could've become a villainess in the original. But here she just endures it with just willpower and the new friends she gained because they saw who she really is (I mean they realised that she was a nice person). Here they made a tragic thing wholesome, which is great.
But even though people greatly fear her power, they also call her creepy right in front of her (because of her looks? I think this was mostly done by children?)? Most people trying to stay away from Claudia make sense but why also treat her so badly?
Her own mother not liking her is partially understandable but at least they should have also shown her desire to be with her child or something like that. A few years should've been enough to realise that she is not evil or something, right?
You're telling me her brother didn't do anything about that?
For some reason the only situation in which her mother and even her maid yells at her angrily is when they assume that she was somehow going to hurt her own baby brother? Even though there was no evidence, even though they knew she wasn't someone who would do something like that (at least they hear about her from others, right?)
Amelia is seen as somebody with a lot potential who's meant to do something, be a saint, hero or whatever so people like her. Makes sense.
But the one we get is arguably one of the worst types of characters you can get in an Isekai reincarnation story: Simply delusional and unable accept reality, consequences or change in any good or reasonable way.
But for some reason, people fear her enough to the point where they let her do so many awful things and don't bother to correct her? Even though she's not scary at all and is supposed to be a hero or something?
This character was not done well at all and is the biggest problem I have with this series. If she had realised that something was different after one or two interactions with Claudia, that could've made the story much more interesting.
Why didn't either of them confront each other about their situation? This Amelia is stupid so yeah, but why didn't Claudia do anything? Playing it safe? More like playing it stupid. It just makes more sense to let the other person (who might believe there won't be any consequences) know that there are things at stake and that things are different from what they think. Humans have empathy and stuff, you know?
Of course this Amelia might be just too stupid or maybe our Claudia is too emotionally unstable to think straight like that.
Ideally, since this seems to be going for a wholesome vibe you want this type of story to end with everyone accepting her.
That skin colour change feels awful but sounds logical when you think about the magic and stuff. So I'll say I'm neutral with it.
Side characters suddenly changing their attitude towards her after that, causing her to feel even more awful is interesting story-wise.
Changing it visually makes it inconsistent.
I feel like this theme which is supposed to be a core theme was not explored properly.
Ronald being the main bad guy is ok, seems kinda random (maybe I missed some clues?) but they should've done a better job setting that up.
The war thing is whatever but its strange how it just happened like that. No training, didn't even bother to show some arrows on a map or something.
