looks like a typical high school romance, so would not read. give me literally any other setting
but it's a super popular theme, so shrug

A couple of thoughts on Lily regarding the high school setting: 1) The second season begins when the MCs are in university and, from what I’ve seen of the untranslated raws, the story continues into their adult working life. 2) One thing I think sets it apart from a lot of high school yuri (Japanese, at least, not as unique manhua, I think) is that it tackles issues with being gay in a country that’s still pretty hostile to it. It’s a bigger focus starting with the second season, but the first does deal with it some.
