Given that last name (Ji), as well as the black hair + golden eye combo, they might be related to Ji Zhixu, first customer of the bookstore, in some way. Perhaps an aunt or maybe even her mother. Also, the Ji family was a clan of Northlander aristocrats and assuming the logic of North = snow and cold applies in this world, it's another point towards a familial relation.
