But yeah “misunderstanding” aside I think it would’ve been entertaining as an episodic enchanted bookstore where they were aware the whole time and just loan a book each time the same way other horror stories are like strange Store did

I said this on another chapter, but my understanding is that the entity who gave him the deal blocks his recognition of anything supernatural, just like how his books look like normal books to him.
