Sometimes I feel like my relationship with this manhua is like being addicted to a drug I've long since built a resistance to.
I seem to walk away from each new chapter feeling either bored or annoyed, and yet I keep coming back.

@StolenGene I feel bro we just keep coming back in the hopes that we might see a change in the plot but with how awful this author is I doubt we’d get any

I'll keep reading this as long as someone will bother to translate. The world is full of idiots, and I don't mind seeng mc take them on one by one in an orderly and calm fashion.

So I am pretty sure the blobfish is getting fired but I am still somewhat confused. Do Chinese companies really have power structures like this? Like, a big boss up top can do anything he/she wants on a whim? And are people in any form of management/overseeing capacity (be it a teacher, shift overseer or manager) really this arrogant? You try that kind of shit here and your ass is fired and on a court bench the day after you try!

@macrendil, it's not the company's power structure, it's the arrognance of the prople in the story, it's overly amplified by the author imo. But it does happen IRL, like people who are self entitled "leaders" do whatever they want because they think they're at the top of the food chain

I wish they made the older lady more attractive but big if she's not going to be a threat or antagonist of MC.

Anyone explain how the daughter of the head of a major corporation, which has multiple subsidiaries, was so broke that she needed to sell a family heirloom for a surgery scam? Feels like the author chose to reuse a character. Even if it's an exwife, the daughter seems to have enough authority in the corporation to draw respect from the head of a subsidiary company.

All that aside, lets see some slaps
