The opening premise of this series was that he was supposed to be living alone in order to prove to his parents that he is a man who can stand on his own merits.

While I know this is mainly an over the top comedy H series, they do occasionally make time to go deeper into feelings. His women know everything about his situation with his family, and his weaknesses and insecurities. They know that, but even though they love him and understand him, they’re actually making his problems worse in some ways.

His current situation is obviously enviable, and he is happy, but it would also be nice if he could make some progress towards the original goal of building his confidence in himself. Otherwise he’s never going to feel like he’s worthy of the life he’s now living.
