Oh trust me, I had the biggest grin when I did that line, and I will stand by it. Yami-senpai did nothing wrong!
Hey I really appreciate you translating this story & bringing together a divisive fanbase for it especially when story is done by the same guy that did White Album 2 with Yom's wonderful art. However I will say that I can never like Yami the way her fans do (unless something REALLY drastic happens in the story). I've tried to sympathize & empathize with her if you check my comment history in the discussion pages. Even when things were going negative towards her, I tried to be neutral & objective but over time I just gave up on Yami. Only thing I can say is that she's a broken girl that will need help from a professional & you can disagree, but it help turn her life around in the long run.

That's fine, I am not trying to convince anyone to like her. While I do enjoy the shit post, I personally enjoy scarred characters and their journey in overcoming or succumbing to that trauma. Plus, this is Maruto-sensei, so I am well aware that this was not going to be some happy go lucky story, so we have a lot to look forward to in whats to come.

This had better not become a thruple because they both worry for Yami. He also mentioned he would be hiding things so I wonder what truth he told. He clearly shows he is still in love with Yami which was the biggest problem with his confession. Don't confess to one girl while in love with another. Especially when you never mention having an ex and hiding information.

I love reading this just for how but hurt everyone gets about this manga. It's like people can't accept it's not black and white. Everyone wants Yami to be the "bad guy" so bad. Hikari is not to blame but my god the comments. They act like Yami should have known Hikari was gonna develop feelings for Yuu before she even met Hikari.

Oh and It's easy to say she should have told her when she realised Hikari liked Yuu but it’s not that simple. She's a teenager and her homelife is a mess, her parents treat her like crap she's probably scared she'd loose her friends. Which is why she cuts people off before they can hurt her. Which explains why she's stopped going to school.

I commented way back then, I'll repeat the same thing:
Yes, Yami is at fault, but she's also a victim of horrible parenting and a dysfunctional life.
Does that excuse the amount of pain she's causing Hikari and Taa? Fuck no, but it's not like she's an evil homewrecker.
She's an emotional train wreck, she's self-sabotaging and highly destructive...
She needs adults who care, good friends, and therapy.

wonder how long we'll be at a standstill.... the two friends learned some context but it doesn't feel like there'll be progress
