You know there was this other manga with unrequited love that ended with the girl (or was it guy?) getting run over by a truck and dying, I think we can still salvage this manga. Just do that. If the goal is to make people as mad as possible make the victim Hikari instead of the other two assholes.

I don’t care anymore man, just give me a bloodbath. Send me to Gal Cleaning Namek so this is at least more entertaining.

I can say that Yuu saying "YAMI DIDNDUNUFFN'" really made me lose respect in him, but at the same time, him saying "Please stay friends with her (Yami)" (IE keep being her moral support) was a pretty "mature" way of handling the situation. I mean, he could have been really spiteful, but he didn't take that route, so that's something.

One of the better chapters admittedly as they are talking to each other, but JFC, poor Hikari is just getting shafted this chapter. She's honestly the only character I care about and they BARELY even talked about her being affected by this entire mess. and LOL to the simp defender using "objective" as a means to berate someone here criticizing your mess story LOL

She needs adults who care, good friends, and therapy.
I'm wondering if Maruto will manage a Yuu and Hikari forgiving Aya ending that doesn't read like they're enabling her self-destructive behavior. Or if Maruto intends to.

41 was kinda promising in this direction b/c Hikari didn't forgive Aya off the bat despite basically understanding why Aya was behaving the way she was.

This chapter less so with the the "Aya wasn't at fault", but to be fair Yuu doesn't seem to know that Aya knew Hikari saw the kiss (definitely doesn't know that she may have done it b/c Hikari could see) or about Hikari and Aya's fight.

There is another possibility given the author, maybe the things could turn and make Hikari the one spiraling down and forcing aya to snap out of it and help her. Double angst, quadruple crawling in my skin.mp3

Yikes at Yuu. He's trying to make it seem that Ayami's not the one at fault when both her and him are at fault (Ayami more than him).

Not only that, it seems that Yuu still hasn't learned anything from this. He still puts Hikari on a pedestal, and even though he seems to have loved her from childhood, he doesn't worry about her at all, thinking she's all right after this when she truly might not be.

I have a feeling that if Hikari accepted his confession, he'd still be worried about Ayami, so I have to admit that he probably doesn't truly love Hikari.

My thoughts exactly, he did not once think about Hikari's feelings at all, even though he is claiming that he loves her. It's more that he is loving the version of her in his head.

Goblin is the most apt and funniest thing I've heard about this character. Bravo. I fell out of my chair laughing LMAO
Love goblin girl, it's my recent favorite trope. There is a newish manga that's about failgirls like this, I forgot the name. It's like watching yip yip lap dogs or cats being sassy, they are annoying but cute. Like this cat:
