With Yami and Yuu's revelation I was really hoping that the title "It's a bit late" referred to the fact that Yuu loved Hikari for a very long time but when Hikari loved him back he had already moved on and the story would be about how Hikari deals with the fact that she was too late.

Nothing burger of a chapter. This is basically a didascalic recap of everything we have seen before. The characters are not really talking to each others or dealing with their problems, this is kinda those moments in low budget soap opera where they do the usual recap for the audience of old people following it (also both Yami and Yuu are both already completely aware of what each of them is saying to the other here, there is basically just a "new" information, if you want to call that, which is the girl understanding that the guy still cares about her, omg 😱).

I don't really know what I was expecting, oh well, let's just hope that in the second part of this chapter the author will come up with something good.

Unfortunately, the novel chapter releases at the same time as the manga chapter so we're all in the same boat.
