Sigh .... yet another "black hair and eyes are evil" fantasy manga.

What annoys me with this is how it feels like an extension of the Japanese excessive nationalism where they start to act a bit racist (as a culture not necessarily individuals) with how much they glorify themselves and simultaneously look down on others.

Yes we freaking get it Japan. Black hair and eyes is a trait common for you! That doesn't mean you have to make that trait a central focus of every damn fantasy story and especially don't need to use the same cookie cutter set up of it being demonized for bullshit reasons every dang time.

They always go so over the top with it as well to the point of having the damn parents either murder the kid outright, abandon him to death, or locking him away like a monster.

All that being said though ... this wasn't bad. Even though the set up is kind of stupid at least they avoided having the MC be some stupid Emo edgelord who's all "I am tortured and dark and blah blah blah". He's just a guy who wants to be left the F alone in his forest. Which I can relate to. If I was in his situation that's how I'd be.

Regardless of the state of the country, there is no way that the fruit that just a random adventurer's party collected 3 of them, can be equaled to the 20% of the country budget.

I mean, cmon. Such price would mean either absurd rarity (which is not, since they got 3 in quite small ammount of time), or absurd difficulty of obtaining (which isn't true either just watching those adventurers). If country budget is so easily toppled by a single dangerous mission of adventurer's party, then this country is shit.

literally every country that has comics or whatever they call it has stories that do the same things but for different traits. They work with what they know.

They did say so, yes.
...So?

I never said that they are weak... ok, scratch that, i called them "random adventurers", but it wasn't exactly what i meant. They aren't "heroes"-like existences that make entire countries tremble just by hearing their names, and have wealth more than most country don't possess, or something like that.
20% of the country budget is exaggerated as it could be, and if they really didn't knew that those fruits are in such an abundance in that forest - who in the world would continue to traverse that dangerous forest to collect more?
20% of the country budget for 4 people is a sum that they wouldn't be able to waste for their entire life, unless they are building castles just to get rid of that cash. Even if they would want more - firstly they would need to secure their extremely valuable finding, and then return after for 2nd expedition.

....And?

Maybe just maybe, people know a general location of them but can't get there because of how dangerous it is, so a high ranking party looking for ways to make big money spent days searching and collecting 3 fruits. maybe they went deeper into a dangerous forest. Maybe they are rare as in it's rare to find them outside a certain zone.
That's a maybe. We don't have enough story to confirm nor deny these maybes.

An object worth depends on what it can do. Maybe it can cure, give power, etc. we just don't know and probably never know.

object worth depends on what it can do? Wrong!
Object worth depends on supply and demand. "What can it do" is "demand" part. Indeed, considering how they named absurd price of 20% of country budget, it should be something absurd akin "making legendary equipment, that one of a kind for the entire country", bring back the dead or atleast heal completely from half-dead state, grant superpowers etc etc
But even the greatest thing in the world cost nothing if ammount of items is exceedingly more than demanded. That would be true even if it's an item that can ressurect the dead.
That's where supply comes. If it's so easily obtainable just by highly trained group of 4 people, there is no way it would ever cost 20% of country's budget. For the country, it's a drop in the ocean from the manpower point of view. And if it would ever is, it would be only due to scarcity, aka "it's rare", and there is no way that forest would be ignored by country's officials. As long as those adventures aren't heroes with firepower equal to army (which they aren't, it is obvious from their talks, that they just feel that they got lucky, and not even sure how much money they would get, despite mentioning 20% of country budget lol).
Anyway, from the future chapter we would learn that it's apparently a huge secret that those fruits even obtainable in that forest, so i would excuse it from remarks about "why entire army still wasn't send in that treasure trove".
Instead i will ask other questions - how the hell that secret is still secret? It's not like there are some fairy magical barrier that makes territory invincible, and despite the danger, there are still adventurers, and they not really have much troubles, or even on edge when traversing it.
And without knowing anything, they stumbled on the item that worth more money than they ever saw, and would be enough to live their whole life, kids life and grandkids life in luxury. And what did they do? Lets continue exploring that dangerous as fuck forest, maybe we will find more.
...
Whether that forest really that dangerous, and therefore unexplored and treasures are undiscovered... or that forest only somewhat dangerous, or those trees with fruits were unnoticed by everyone who traversed here except that party who already hunted 3... regardless of what it is, situation still doesn't make any sense.

Why are you blaming anyone for trespassing your territory? Did you mark it? How were they supposed to know they can't go there, if there are no signs? Who gave you the rights to this part of the forest anyway?

he don't exactly blaming them for trespassing, he just proposed the ultimatum. Firstly, yes, that forest is marked as something akin of "forest of death", aka enter at your own risk, and if you got killed - you can only blame yourslef and your life choices.
What do you mean "rights"? There is no such thing as "rights" in the world, it's a human construct that being enforced by human countries as kind of contracts between themselves. He belongs to the faction of the inhabitants of the forest, and don't care. Law of the jungle.
Would you ask angry bear about "who gave him the rights to claim the territory", when you entered its hunting grounds? The thing about the situation that you either overpower it with force, and claim territory for yourself, or piss off if you can't.

He had decency to atleast propose of "leaving without loot or die", so i think it was as fair as it could be.

When you compare it to a bear, it actually does make sense and he really was more thoughtful than an animal.

So he somehow has clothes despite being abandoned, has his ears pierced, and can understand the local language? This manga is terrible on so many levels.

My flames will hit its weakness... Windcutter!
Something feels off here.

This fruit is worth 20% of a country's budget..." shortly followed by "We already got 3 of these.
OK, this has been discussed above: a party of 4 adventurers getting 60% of a country's budget in one run without loss is way off. They might just exaggerate its worth. Or the author has no sense of value.
I don't think its rarity and worth can be explained by the protagonist defending the forest. That would mean the value become that crazy just become of one individual. If the fruit is really worth it, I'm pretty sure a strong force would have been sent to eliminate that individual. Not to mention that the price would have shot up only during the past 15 years or so.
Also, they mention that people who went in the forest and come out mostly bring this fruit back. It definitely cannot be rare enough that 5 of them are worth a whole country's budget, no matter how useful they are. As someone mentioned above, function is part of something's value, but rarity is too.
