Glad to finally see this completed. Shame the main conflict doesn't seem to have been resolved. I do wonder how Immortal Ridge ties into this since it looks like it takes place somewhere before or around the beginning of Hounds.

This wasn't an axe. This was the author literally not knowing how to end it. He even says as much in the notes in volume 7.

He just gave up.

Yeah... how can you satisfyingly end a fight against an omnipotent being? Giant robot fight just does not seem doable in this story.

That wasn't the ending, that was in Volume 6 (where the old pre-dmca translations had stopped iirc)

Would have worked better if windchime seemed 25 instead of 14 or the Inspector at least seemed 22 instead of 40. Or just actually make him sexy and not a flavorless cutout of a man. Nanami from JJK comes to mind as a model.
