So the kids destiny was to break the stone tablet that seals the magic stone that is now a magic sword and get possessed by a guy in a tv room that actually has a piece of the stone that is not a stone so that he could get the power that was rejecting him and somehow that would kill hell. But one of the clan leaders went to a fortune teller room and blew out his eyes to blow up the tv guy that was blowing up the undead kid that was blowing up from holding not holding the magic sword that he didn't actually have but released the seal of. On an unrelated note they went to a pocket maze dimension with a girl that wanted to catch a manticore and this was all according to plan.
Basically all the characters and interactions and complicated shit are happening because the author didn't put anyone in the same room so you can't tell who is who and doing what where and when.
