Haha i really like these chinese protagonists even though their stories usually arent very good. They are clear between gratitude and resentment so they reward the good and punish the wicked fairly. The japanese protagonists rarely do that.

I think he got gypped on the payment for the stones. 200k Yuan is about $28 odd k in US dollars right? Considering they can help with cultivation and there's nothing like it in the world should be worth at least $500k or a million each. Speaking of the stones, should give Aunt (is this a form of address for a respectable older woman and not the sister of his father or mother right?) Ye Qingmai as a get well present considering the sinister Harpia is likely going to try to get revenge for MC hurting her daughter instead of getting pounded even if one who instigated fight. That way Ye will get stronger faster (although should hide fact fully recovered until ready to squash Harpia,) and expose any weak links or traitors who believe she's still injured and convalescing into publicly supporting Harpia. As for why his heart is throbbing it's likely due to using the sword without getting his current body fully up to spec to use it. Like in the Persona games by Atlus where playing New Game+ where can put a high ranked, powerful magic/skills Persona onto MC, but run into trouble because barely have enough HP/MP to use Magic/Skill once much less twice.
Li Youwei has definitely picked the wrong person to make an enemy. Question is, will he survive long enough to find out his engagement got canceled or will it be canceled due to him dying? Be nice to see expression on his face when finds out assassin he hired was the one who turned up dead.

Would be less drama if he played it smart (Selling to the two families he has somewhat good ties with, strengthening them while still making a profit, also would mean him being the source would be kept anonymous rather than have him waltz into a 'pawnshop' and using his real name.)

And ofcourse he got fleeced on the price, if he is the only one able to make them he has the absolute control on the supply (But again would be smarter if he only sold it to the people he had good standing with,less chance of them to betray him or threaten his family and whatnot.)
