Jokes aside, as much I enjoy vtuber slop, I don't feel good about the disclaimer in the beginning. So they will be using the avatar during IRL scene for every character？What with “don't want to destroy the ideal“？ Isn't like the selling point is them being fail human？

The same reason I quit watching “I forgot to turn off stream and become legendary“ anime, it's so jarring （and cringe）having perfect looking fantasy avatar during IRL scene.

Also this approach created a big plot hole right from the bat, isn't the human won't register at all if they are using avatar during streaming？So oniichan liftting imouto would just be the paperdoll floating at most, his face won't register at all.

peeked at the raws and the term used for "big brother" here is the formal and archaic 兄者, read as あにじゃ (apparently somewhat equivalent in use as 兄貴 (あにき) today but without the gang context), which i'm not sure if people can reliably interpret as meaning "big brother" so having it translated is probably fine

taking into account the vtuber's lore, a more fitting translation could be something closer to "dear brother" but that sounds kind of bad on paper so it's really just an unfortunate situation

also take everything i say with a handful of salt as i'm not a translator nor very well versed in japanese language
