Wouldn't this mangaka be able to put even less effort in if he just filled every chapter with screenshots of the third-rate fantastical Victorian drama with Japanese subtitles from which he is blatantly copying every villain plot he comes up with? Not that every other manga with the same background isn't copying the exact same plots with as little attempts at originality.
Or maybe the heroine and her friends should just kill themselves in order to make things even easier for the villains, who as usual in such uninspired period drama plots, are able to do pretty much whatever they please. Not because they are so clever, but because everybody just lets them.

Oh, good. So I'm not crazy. I felt confused and logically disjointed as I read through the manga, and I wasn't sure whether it was just because I'm tired or something.

Damn, this manga had so much potential...
Isekai about a girl with insane healing capabilities working with the government as a doctor of sort, while sometimes going on adventure on the side and incognito.
She was also trying to find a way back to her world and all.
All that was wiped out of existence when she was revealed as the soulmate of the demon king.
She'll live for a crap ton of time, and when she dies after a few millennia, she'll basically go back to her world at the same time that she disappeared from it...
But she has to be incredibly protected, because if something happens to her, the world is pretty much fucked... so nothing can really happen to her, really...
So... no more being a doctor, no more adventures, no more trying to find a way back and no risks to her life. Just the same shit we see in other Isekai Shoujo, but worst.
Also, the translation is now crap and headache-inducing... so no regret dropping this.

@feha: Same evil (former) King, as before. He survived, because Noche didn't even care enough to make sure he actually was in that castle, when he slaughtered everyone.
Woooow. Viola's actions set new standards for bad judgment. As proud as the are of their little sister, doesn't she realize, that her siblings are people, who are willing to take their good friend's (demon king Noche) life, when he turns dangerous, to ensure the worlds survival? And that won't be even his own fault. Her acts of treachary on the other hand are voluntary. Siblings or not, they will have her head for this. Making the 13 most powerful people on their world, that can teleport everywhere, your enemy is daring.
My guess is her plan involves NOT getting associated with that king. You know, that king, that is so full of himself, that he will spill the beans at the next possible opportunity. I don't see how this can possible go wrong. I guess her scheme includes killing him of before he's able to. If she fucks up the timing, it's world ending time. But 0 is seemingly the number of f*cks she gives, if she can't be with Noche.

@Kyujyu Nice theory, but I do not believe she would have seen that as necessary at that point. Not even to plan something ahead. But it would play out just fine, if she was the one behind abduction of MC in first place. Then again, before that it was King Shithead, who tried to summoned her in first place for his own reasons. Why should Viola be involved in all of this.

Man...the MC totally got nerfed. She used to be an adventurer but since meeting the Demon Lord, she hasn't used her healing once and she turned into a frail, dense girl that is in constant need of protection. Where's the girl splitting mountains apart to save a drawf? It's like a complete shoujo manga now.
And why are the antagonist so dumb? They're targetting a human that can summon the Demon Lord with a single word (she can probably call him telepathically)?
