There's a number of interesting ideas here but it sometimes feels disjointed. Like the author skipped a thought or lost a chapter and just started with another idea. And then sometimes remembers to go back and talk about previous ones to tie it back in again later.
I don't normally quibble about art styles but there's a couple things that throw this one off a bit for me. First, so many of the characters end up lacking an instantly noticeable characterization, I end up relying on context to keep everyone straight. Like, you might have three characters that are practically identical save for maybe eye color. Second, the artist loves drawing the mouths in this weird pursed grin like they're holding back a laugh or maybe grimacing. I should have gotten used to it since they do it so much but it always feels like the tone got mismatched.
Overall a decent experience so far, I just keep feeling like I can't quite immerse myself in the story and characters.
