It's supposed to be a happy ending but why does it feel bittersweet for me?

Wow, so much people rooting for a guy that's obviously not into lolicon. Geez...

There was not a single time Iori was into Rin a part being friends, even an entire arc dedicated for him fighting pedophiles infesting the city that had connections to be safe from the law.

There was only one route, that is Rin and Mikuru and what was a goal that kept him moving on despite numerous humiliation Iori faced.

Sure, thanks from what he got into reunited Iori with mom and sister, finally being appreciated in school, not to mention building a stable relationship with Mikuru that moved them closer than when they were at school, but all things needed to end that way.

It's a shame we didn't had Iori explaining Rin unrequited love toward him, it was just a transference due to him saving her life and support, but it was just one sided affection of a child first "crush". When she will grow up, surely she will find someone who will reciprocate her in true way.

Well, that was a fun read.

Despite a whole lot of fanservice and perverted lolicon in almost every chapter, Iori unfortunate circumstances made him get closer to family once lost and had plenty of fun being a kid once more.

Also, made him fallen in love with his crush as she really was, not just the kinda goofy person Mikuru were in school, but also a caring and responsible that will be at his side despite any circumstances. He clearly had different impressions earlier in the story, but seeing her how she really was deepened Iori love to Mikuru.

10/10 from me.
