So, I thought Cayna the avatar (probably AI controlled) has been wandering for 200 years, then eventually she stayed at that inn the night before. And then Keina finally took over the avatar when she woke up.
The AI she has on her was controlling her body and Opus was helping out. The way they explained why it took that long for Keina to wake up. Was the server was still getting used to Leadale and created a massive time lag until it got accustomed to Leadale.
Honestly it's this chapter (I also read the novel version) that made me rly dislike this character and drop this... She legit wanted to kill the fucking kid who was crying for help after realizing what he had done was real and not a game. Obviously the kid didn't want to hurt actual people.
If it wasn't for the granddaughter, the kid woulda been fucking dead.
I also really don't like how she just blew her actual children off when she was depressed. Though at least she ended up realizing that she was being a horrible mother.
Important Note: The manga leaves out an important detail from the novel that makes this chapter make a lot more sense. See, when it was just a game, the VR equipment actually let you feel pain, though it was heavily reduced. You could also remove the limiters to make yourself feel more pain and have the experience be more "real". As such, feeling slight pain wasn't enough for the kid to realize this wasn't a game anymore. No one except someone like our MC could damage the kid enough for him to realize that the pain was real and not from the equipment.

I wonder how long that kid was there and if the game had some kinda time compression.(ergo 1 hour irl is a day ingame for example).
And i agree with how you feel about the MC she's being a bit of a hypocrite here.
The kid just really wanted to believe it was still a game, because excepting it wasnt, would pretty much make his mind crumble.(even for an adult it would be mentally hard to be told you could never see your friends and family now imagine that with a kid)

Seriously though, I hate how the manga leaves out such an important detail. Leaving that out makes the kid's ignorance a lot more questionable and stupid, which is why so many side with the MC on her initial decision.
With this detail, the kid is a lot more sympathetic. And this detail is narrated by the MC herself, btw. So even while knowing this, she wanted to fucking off that child. She's a god damn self-centered sociopath.
And finally, her attitude on killing gets so fucking contradictory. Remember when she escorts knights a bit later on and then feels bad/hesitant about annihilating a bunch of bandits? How the fuck does that make sense when:
1: She had no qualms killing an ignorant child.
And 2: Her own family is always so afraid of her because of her pissy attitude and constant threats of destroying them.
The main character fucking sucks and gets worse from here.
I remember her getting worse when reading a bit further ahead than this chapter, and because of you I know that she gets EVEN WORSE from there. I'm so glad I dropped this.

You are a clown.
The "kid" engaged in banditry for fun, which the reward for in every actual society is DEATH. (bonus points if you can name what we base game societies on)
"Wow people are acting differently and I can feel stuff like hunger and pain...better become a worthless reprobate bandit lord that murders people for fun."
You dont get a pass for being a child and killing people for literal fun and profit, unless of course the people sympathizing with you are also evil and probably stupid.
Her granddaughter is "afraid" of her because she was warned that her grandmother is a walking superweapon and then that is demonstrated to her. Remember, this is in a world where pretty much nobody else could stop Keina except the other Tower Masters (gone) or Game Managers (also gone).
The exchange that probably hurt your feelings (for your benefit):
Mother "If you meet her one day, be careful to not make a careless mistake"
Child "Is Grandmother that scary?"
Mother "Your Grandmother is a very kind person but... remember this, your grandmother with only a single spell can wipe out an entire city."
Now I will say this probably suffers from the machine translation as noted at the end of the chapter but its a simple "fuck around and find out" thing.
I will add a useful exchange from chapter 10 between her daughter and son regarding strength.
M "Ain't much we can do. Not even you can break through Mum's barrier, right sis?"
K "You're not wrong. Mother is a Skill Master - A grand sorceress with command of magic from ancient times. There's nothing an ordinary mage like me can do about that..."
M "Not to mention th' fact that over half the mages nowadays ain't even close to your level, sis"
Regarding that hidden 2., substantiate your claim and I doubt you can because I just reread all of the chapters.
Also boohoo she kills bandits, evil wizards, and monsters.
