Y'all are both forgetting that their pose reaches up high enough to snugly be seen through the window...

...ON THE SECOND FLOOR.

Either they've been made/been always tall enough for that to work(without either stanading perfectly straight)or them together allows their wings to act as a pair(not that they're big enough for such things anyway),because they'd need a third person otherwise.

Unless floors in Japan are short as Hell.

Well,jumping from the second floor is actually doable by most people without taking damage.

The best way is to roll/crouch once contact so one doesn't strain their legs upon impact.

The worst is to land on ones' head.

The height of two floors is still taller then two people,even more so the half-floor extra it takes to appear in the window,and they did it in a squating manner.
