This is fun to read. It almost reaches the vibe and wit of Oregairu, just with more eye-rolling tropes on this one.

QUICK SPOILER FREE REVIEW:

If you think this will be some extreme glow up and romance hijinks, it's not, at least not yet. It's a competently told story about a salaryman who is trying to redo his life when he unexplainably goes back to his high school days. He uses the lessons he learned as a hardworking employee but this time without the shackles of adult responsibility. No fights. It doesn't dwell too much on the romance aspect, but it's there in light touches. The MC would be an ideal medium for self-inserting except he actually has personality here, albeit not that much.

The narrative can't seem to allow for the MC to be anything but completely in the right, whatever the conflict is. He should ultimately be thankful to his peers for teaching him how to be so utterly Japanese in his first life, however unintentional and roundabout.

Not original but its wholesome and captures the all-past-regrets vibe every zoomer has at 25 (me).
He's not putting every dime on crypto though. He's destined to become yet another corporate slave
recommend me something like this

After reading some rather dark LNs, this story is such a delightful read. Sure there are similarities to other stories and some plot armor developments but its pleasant to see the MC treating his family well and also learning from his past and from others.

Little sister cover is the best! Safe!

If this manga / LN is successful, author better make a spin-off of the story of the little sister. Including her past timeline.

Bro is such a chad. Straightforward and honest, not perverse, pathetic otaku like in common romance manga.

I've read the end of the WN, and I am really disappointed and confused as to why the author chose to make the final arc as convoluted as it is. For most of the story, it is a rom-com story with a single instance of regression, and it should've stayed as such. Instead, it decided to (poorly) pretend to be a time-travel sci-fi story in the final arc. It was so unnecessary and contrived that it soured my mood for the story.
